I took over 800 pics so far!
It’s hard to post all of my pics on Tumblr so I will make an online album so people can see all my pics and videos!
Halfway Point
It’s been about two weeks and it’s getting better and better. My classes at Villa 21 and Escuela Del Mirador are phenomenal. It’s weird at times because the atmosphere difference is drastic. One day I’m at a private school and the next day I teach at a Villa. I leave soon and I will miss it dearly. I know I should be writing more but I’m so busy with my work and...
It's been about a week and...
This trip has been the best experience in my life. In 7 days I met a Swiss Banker, a future Yale student, an HR rep from the UK, a French student, a student from the UK, and an older woman from Belgium.Mind you this was only in my hostel. Overall, I met over 100+ people in 9 days.
I’m slowly overcoming social fears I once had. I see myself changing negative ways of thinking day by day....
Why I Took Time Off From Columbia
I never took my education at Columbia for granted; I loved the challenge of my classes and appreciated my opportunity to the fullest extent. I loved my professors and the challenge of hard work. To tell you the truth I disliked the atmosphere of the university and the student body. I felt too many students were out of touch with reality or bad people. I can only describe my experience because the...
Cleveland Indians On Board!
A big reason why I’m in Buenos Aires at the moment is because of the Cleveland Indians organization. Mark Shapiro and Chris Antonetti helped out my cause as soon as possible without asking any questions. They always wanted for me to keep them posted and pushed me to tell others about my venture. Famed Indian Travis Hafner donated when it mattered and made my trip a reality. Today the Indians...
Sophia Gave Me The Idea
I was sitting at my friend Taylor’s house, confused about what to do during semester off. His mother Sophia gave me the idea to fundraise my trip. I took her advice and now I’m going to Argentina. Thanks!

Family Means Everything
My sister Maggie was one of the few who helped me make this trip possible. As difficult as I am, she told me to take it a day at a time. She helped cater my event at Touch and told numerous people about my cause. I think she is more excited about the trip than I am.
My brothers Anthony, Luis, and Daniel are quiet folk but they always trust my ventures. They always have my back when needed.

Against All Odds
I want to thank the 33 people who made my trip possible. Once my paperwork is finished for my trip I will contact all of the donors via e-mail. I raised $4,056 in about two months though a recession and two natural disasters. As always if one wants to donate online the URL is http://roadtoargentina.bbnow.org/index.php
Almost There...
I made my payment to Travellers Worldwide and my flight is booked. My month excursion starts this Saturday and I’m still in disbelief that this trip is going to happen. I haven’t slept much since I have paperwork to fill out for the travel agency. I have lots of packing to do and last minute items to take of but it’s well worth it.
Tony Amato and Marty Bokovitz Made This Possible
Two mentors of mine helped me push my campaign when others disapproved of my idea to travel. My two bosses in fact made the first donations to my cause, funding one-fifth of my trip. Some people might dread their bosses, but I look up to mine in ways one can’t imagine. I’ve learned more than just work ethic and proper procedure at the workplace; I’ve learned about respect, life...
Some of the exposure I have received...
I created a donation website so that I could receive online donations. You can check it out at: http://roadtoargentina.bbnow.org/index.php
I also received exposure from the Cleveland Indians and Vitamin Thick:

I have to thank these people for all of their donations: Tony Amato and Marty Bokovitz:The FIRST contributors to the Road To Argentina Campaign Bobbito Garcia: Inspiration for the Road To Argentina Campaign Devereaux Howell:I recently met her through the program I want to do. This lady after a 20 minute conversation donated $50.00 to my cause without even knowing me on a personal level. I thank...

Welcome to the Road To Argentina, a campaign to help me raise money to volunteer in Argentina. I will document everything about my trip on here, good and bad. Raising almost $6,000 is a struggle, but I am persistent and confident in my project. Right now I have raised $740.00. Still I have a long way to go. You can donate through many outlets. I created a donation website so...
